The lifelong Brexiteer delighted his supporters when he posted a video of his adorable one-year-old son Alfred learning to say ‘Brexit’.
Jacob Rees-Mogg, who has been touted as a future leader, put the footage of his youngest son on his Instagram account, much to the amusement of the MP’s fans.
The prominent Eurosceptic was praised by one supporter who joked he was “starting them off young”.
The video shows the toddler on Mr Rees-Mogg’s knee as his father and siblings urge him to say the word ‘Brexit‘.
In the clip, the Tory backbencher says: “Can you say Brexit?”
His son then tries to repeat the word, with comes out sounding more like “biscuit”.
Mr Rees Mogg is delighted with his son’s efforts and tells him he is a “very good boy.”
He captioned the video: “Alfred the Great as taught by Peter.”
